Waiting for Christmas #24

Two years ago we stood
in front of the cathedral, under the Christmas tree.
I looked up, all those little lamps shining in the dark night.
"It's beautiful", I whispered.
"You're beautiful", he said and kissed me.

I didn't know him yet,
but I knew I would love him.
