Little Tuesday Escape

{via Irene Suchocki}

I so love these colorful, whimsical, fairytale-like photographs of Irene Suchocki. They make me wanna pack a little red suitcase and travel somewhere where you can live in a bright pink house (according to Irene that's in Burano, Italy) or ride in a ferris wheel like that. Sitting on a beach under such a cute umrella wouldn't be bad either.

You can help!

After thinking about it for a couple of days, Diana Mini is definitely the camera of my dreams. At least at the moment - I dream a lot about cameras. Anyway, I just built up a photography section in my shop where you can purchase A4 prints of my most beloved pictures. There are eight options at the moment, but more to come in near future.

At least some of the money got from the photographs will be used to reach my dream and fund the Diana. Please check out the shop out and share the word if you know someone who would like to have a print. And if you want to read more about this, check out my craft blog Ikomi.

PS. Sorry for those who read both blogs and now got the information twice. But at least the pictures are different...

Cute or What

{All the pictures via Poketo}

Diana Mini is something I want really bad right now.
No matter I already have 9 cameras
(yeah, I know I said 8 earlier,
but I made a minor miscalculation back then).
Oh yes, I'm hopeless.
And so in love with it!

Something new, something blue

Remember when I said something about a new blog project? It wasn't even a full sentence, just a small throwaway remark. But well, something grew out of that idea, and I'd like to show it now.

This is a bit different that my other blogs; it is a picture journal telling the stories behind my photographs. It isn't a daily project, but I try to keep it up and running, and update at least a couple of times a week. We'll see how it's going to work out, and I so badly wish this blog will be liked.

So, it's time for you to meet: Pictorial Memories.

PS. Please show your love by becoming a follower, and don't forget to tick the box after every post to tell what you think!

Something old, something new

Ladies and gentlemen, please let me introduce you my new camera. Authentic and original Agfa Isola from 1958. I'm not totally used to taking pics with it yet (they still appear unfocused and look weird cause I'm not quite sure how to use the camera), but I sure love it.

I love the fact it's old (2 years younger than my parents), but still works perfectly. I love how it looks like and how it feels in my hands. I love that it's a film camera, and, even better, uses 120 film. I love those 6x6 square photographs, and I love black and white. I've missed shooting film, and especially black and white.

I just wish it were cheaper to develop the pictures. What do you think, would there be space for a darkroom in the corner of our bathroom? I'm afraid that could make daily life too hard. Would be awesome though.
